…But she fires up two cigarettes and hands me one and I taste her lipstick on it and suddenly my heart’s pounding so loud I can’t hear anything else. I want to cry and I want to laugh at the craziness of it all but mostly I want to reach over and touch her and taste Goldie’s sweat one more time.
